MY STORY

My love for authentic street food brings me back to the age of ten. Every morning was spent throwing dough in a wood oven and selling it to a hungry village. I discovered my craft and it gave me purpose.

On my way back to LA, I found myself missing the authentic flavors. The street food just wasn’t the same out here. I built a wood oven and would spend hours a day cooking something money couldn’t buy. I found my passion. At gatherings I would hear, "The flavors bring back memories of my childhood in Mexico." I wanted to share this experience with the world, but I wasn’t ready.

I spent every day for many years perfecting my recipes. My goal was to serve authentic Mexican street food with an unforgettable taste. In 2019, I opened Papi Tacos & Churros in the heart of Los Angeles. Word-of-mouth brought us lines of people from different parts of the world. Bringing people together and feeding them happiness accomplished my dream. Thank you for being part of it today.
